Maria Cavali is a Lithuanian photographer and founder of the Heterochromia Project; an ever-expanding collection of portraits documenting the differences in colouration in each subject’s eyes.

‘Heterochromia – Children of Hags’ will be the first publication that comprehensively showcases Maria’s striking portraits, accompanied by personal statements and stories shared by each subject.

As a crowdfunding project, Maria took the initiative to personally hand-make each sampler document. Its purpose was to be distributed among backers, raising awareness and support for the project.
